CITY

CITY is a collection of my work that looks into the ways in which people have created and live in the world’s cities today. Scanning the globe in a 360-degree journey and taking in 62 cities – from Tokyo in the east to San Francisco in the west – CITY provides a unique snapshot of the diverse forms of urbanity that exist across all five continents.

Producing CITY has given me the chance to present the myriad stories I have seen across the globe on a variety of projects for the Guardian, Save the Children, Oxfam and many others, revealing how we shape our habitat and how it, in turn, shapes us.

Oliver Wainwright, the Guardian’s architecture and design critic, adds the words to help weave the narrative as it changes from city to city.
